  • Can an ATV Winch Be Used to Load Car Onto Trailer Ramps
  • The main difference between an ATV winch and a trailer winch is that the ATV winch comes with a wiring kit and other install components that tailor it to an install on an ATV. That being said, if you wanted to install the # SW1130220 on a trailer it would be possible. The capacity of the winch you would need will be based on the slope angle of the ramps on your trailer. I attached a help article that details how to pick out the correct electric winch. I also attached a chart that shows...

  • Will ATV Ramps Interfere with the Topline Bed Extender on a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado
  • The Topline Bed Extender, # BX4004-02, will likely interfere with ATV ramps if it is left on your tailgate. The good news is that this bed extender is easily removable. The bed extender attaches to the side brackets with two release pins. Simply remove the release pins to move the bed extender out of the way when you load your ATV. I do not recommend leaving the bed extender attached when you load your ATV. Check out the installation video that I have attached for this bed extender. We...

  • What is the Weight Capacity of the Stallion ATV Ramp # 288-07474?
  • I have a solution for you. As far as the load rating of the single Stallion Loading Ramp - Steel - 48" Long x 11" Wide # 288-07474, it has a weight capacity of 800 pounds. However, when you use the ramp as a pair like the 2 that come with the # 288-07474-2, the weight capacity becomes 1,600 pounds when combined. As far as whether we have a 60-inch Stallion ramp, the only ones we carry are the Aluminum Car Hauler Ramp Set - 60" x 14-1/2" - 6,000 lbs # 288-07502 (which only come in quantities...

  • ATV Ramps Needed For Loading A Kawasaki Mule Into A U-Pack Semi Trailer
  • U-Pack Semi Trailers have a 48" height from the ground whereas the typical application for ATV ramps like the CargoSmart Arched Loading Ramp Set # 3483070 are trailers and truck beds which are usually at most 23" inches in height. Because of this the ramps will be very steep when used on a U-Pack trailer but should allow you to get your Kawasaki Mule loaded. These ramps are rated for 3,000lbs which is almost double the curb weight of your Kawasaki Mule. They have cam-buckle straps to prevent...

  • Recommended Trailer for Transporting ATV and Tractor
  • In order to carry your tractor or ATV I actually recommend the Detail K2 Mighty Multi Utility Trailer part # K2MMT4X6, not the Detail K2 Mighty Multi A-Frame Utility Trailer part # K2MMT5X7. The reason for this is because the ramp on part # K2MMT5X7 is much too steep to load a tractor or ATV. You will need one with less of an angle like part # K2MMT4X6. This trailer is actually designed for loading ATVs, UTVs, and other equipment such as your tractor. In order to make sure the latter...

  • Can The Mad-Ramps Pivoting Ramp System Be Used For Hauling a Golf Cart
  • Mad-Ramps Pivoting Ramp System for ATV/UTV Ramps # MR54FR should be able to help you haul your golf cart, but you'll want to check a couple of things first. Starting with the wheelbase, you'll want to measure from the center of the front axle back to the center of the rear axle. If your measurement exceeds 88" then your golf cart is likely going to be too long to fit. This is mostly designed for small to medium ATVs/UTVs that are 60" wide or less with only one row of seats. You'll also...

  • Where to Run Ignition Switch Wire from ATV Winch Rocker Switch if Installed on a Trailer
  • The ignition switch wire on the Superwinch ATV winch # 1120210 requires a 12 volt connection. Basically it is designed to only let power go through the switch when the ignition is powered on. Since you are not using it on an ATV it would have to be connected directly to a constant 12 volt source. There isn't any other way unless you first ran that wire to a different switch, such as # PK34213. When off it would be as if an ATV was off. When on it would be as if the ATV was running.

  • Recommended Ramps for Loading Lawn Mowers Into Truck Bed
  • The Arched Loading Ramp Set part # EM07435 is what I recommend using for loading items into a truck bed. The ramps are lightweight at 20 lbs each and they fold for a compact storage. They also come with chains to help secure the ramps while loading. They will work with anything from big wheel ATV's to small wheel lawnmowers due to the close spacing of the horizontal supports.
